Sunny Deol’s Soorya Faces Legal Notice Over Breach of Contract; Read Why –

In an evolving world, emerging research continues to highlight concerns that could impact everyday wellbeing. Here’s the key update you should know about:

Sunny Deol’s Soorya Faces Legal Notice:

Bollywood actor Siddharth Sharma has taken legal action against the makers of the upcoming film Soorya, alleging serious breaches of his contract. The actor issued a formal statement on social media, confirming that a legal notice has been sent to the producers for failing to honour the terms of their agreement.

The film, which stars Sunny Deol in the lead role, has now landed in controversy following Sharma’s announcement. He stated that the producers—Kamal Mukut, Soham Rockstar Entertainment, and Deepak Mukut—have repeatedly failed to comply with the conditions outlined in his artist agreement signed before production began.

“I have issued a formal legal notice against the producers for intentional and constant breach of contractual obligations under the Artist Agreement for the Hindi film Soorya,” Sharma wrote on Instagram, tagging Zee Music Company and Zee Studios among others involved with the film.

According to the actor’s post, the notice cites provisions from Sections 37, 39, 73, and 74 of the Indian Contract Act, 1872, suggesting that further legal proceedings could follow. Sharma also mentioned that he resorted to legal action only after multiple attempts to resolve the matter privately went unanswered.

Neither the producers nor the mentioned companies have released an official statement yet. With Soorya already in post-production, the dispute has drawn significant attention in the film industry, raising questions about the management of artist agreements in Bollywood.
